For seven years, our founder has traveled to the tea mountains himself — from Taitung to Zhangping to Fenghuang — sourcing directly from growers and tea makers he knows personally.
We bring each tea to Chicago in small batches. When a harvest is gone, we wait for the next.

Laoshan's tea gardens sit between 100 and 400 meters, close enough to the coast that sea mist settles on the leaves. The maritime soil gives the tea its natural umami, a gentle sea-breeze note you will not find inland.
