Have you ever considered brewing tea using a gaiwan? Or, maybe you're comfortable doing so and want to share your best infusion with others. Join me for Brew Tea Tuesdays!

Brew Tea Tuesdays is a great way to gain comfort in brewing with a gaiwan AND meet others within the Chicago community! I provide you the tea and teaware as we share and taste the differences between each infusion and deep-dive into the history and stories of the tea.

Meet Your Facilitator

Marco Namowicz is an experienced tea educator, content creator, and consultant whose passion is to encourage a deep relationship with tea through reflection and intuitive play. He takes pride in using his experience in tea retail business operations and training to maintain a learning environment that is accessible and transformative.

As a member of the wider tea community in America, his goals are to share the philosophies of tea's origins with respect and appreciation. In addition to partnerships with tea sources, Marco is recognized for his involvement in the 2019 and 2020 Chicago International Tea Festivals, co-founding both the Activist Teahouse and Chinese Tea Culture Association and facilitating local community events by pouring tea for the public.
